Pevnostní 651 is privately owned. The owner’s strategy for the property is to maximize its income potential as proposed here in order to restore and maintain the property and support the programs of the Institute. Fortunately, its unique architectural character has not been destroyed. The interior remains much as it was when the house was built, including many Art Nouveau features which will serve to enhance the center’s ambiance. Our plan is to proceed gradually with the restoration, in concert with the needs of our partners.
As a recently formed Florida not-for-profit corporation, The Bĕhal Fejér Institute is embarking on fund raising efforts to support its mission at Pevnostní 651. Until the Institute receives 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, interested parties may make tax deductible donations to the Institute through Friends of Via, a 501(c)(3) and the fiscal agent for The Via Foundation.
